Robot
Term · Industrial and trades · MLC-T-IND-004894
A robotic total station that can be controlled remotely by a single operator carrying the prism pole. The instrument automatically tracks the moving prism, measures angles and distances, and records the data without a second person stationed at the tripod. This one-person operation significantly increases efficiency for tasks like topographic surveys and construction stakeout, reducing field crew size from two or three people to one.
