Selectivity ratio
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-010690
A measure of the ability of an analytical method or separation technique to differentiate between a target analyte and other components in a sample. It is often expressed as the ratio of the response for the analyte to the response for an interferent. A higher selectivity ratio indicates better analytical performance in complex matrices.
