Anion exchanger
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-000611
A type of ion-exchange material, typically a resin, that possesses positively charged functional groups capable of reversibly binding and exchanging with anions from a solution. These materials are used in chromatography to separate negatively charged species. Common functional groups include quaternary ammonium groups, which provide strong basic exchange sites.
