Anion exchange
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-000610
A type of ion-exchange chromatography where negatively charged ions (anions) in a sample solution are reversibly exchanged with other anions bound to a stationary phase. The stationary phase typically consists of a resin with positively charged functional groups. This process is used to separate, purify, and concentrate anionic species based on their charge and affinity for the resin.
