Potentiometric selectivity coefficient
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-009327
A quantitative measure of the preference of an ion-selective electrode for one ion over another interfering ion. It indicates how much more sensitive the electrode is to the primary ion compared to the interfering ion. This coefficient is determined under specified conditions and is often expressed as a logarithmic value.
