Bimetallic electrode
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-001219
An electrode constructed from two different metallic materials, often used in potentiometric or amperometric measurements. The combination of metals can create a specific electrochemical response or enhance selectivity towards certain analytes. This type of electrode is frequently employed in sensors for environmental monitoring or clinical diagnostics.
