Amperometric detection method

Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-000513

An electrochemical analytical technique that measures the current generated by an oxidation or reduction reaction at an electrode surface, which is proportional to the concentration of the analyte. A constant potential is applied to the working electrode, and the resulting current is monitored. This method is sensitive and selective, often used in chromatography and biosensors.
