Simulated field studies
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-010877
Ecological investigations conducted in controlled outdoor environments that mimic natural conditions to assess the effects of chemicals or other stressors on ecosystems. These studies bridge the gap between laboratory experiments and full-scale field trials, providing more realistic exposure scenarios. They are often used in ecotoxicology to evaluate environmental risks.
