Species assemblage

A collection of different species coexisting within a defined area or habitat at a particular time. This grouping is influenced by environmental factors, interspecies interactions, and historical biogeography. The composition and structure of an assemblage provide insights into ecosystem health and biodiversity patterns, often studied in ecological surveys.
