Community
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-002284
A group of interacting populations of different species living in the same area and interacting with each other. These interactions can include predation, competition, and symbiosis, shaping the structure and dynamics of the biological assemblage. The boundaries of a community are often defined by physical or biological factors.
Groups of different species of organisms that live together and interact within a defined geographical area or habitat. These biological assemblages can include microorganisms, plants, and animals, forming complex ecological networks. The structure and function of these communities are influenced by environmental factors and interspecies relationships.
