Community resistance
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-002287
The ability of a biological community to withstand or remain largely unchanged in the face of an environmental disturbance or stressor. This property indicates the degree to which a community's structure, species composition, or ecological processes are unaffected by external pressures. A community with high resistance experiences minimal alteration when exposed to a perturbation.
