Stereocopolymer

Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-011370

A copolymer in which the different monomeric units or sequences within the polymer chain exhibit distinct stereochemical configurations. This means that the arrangement of substituents around the main chain varies in a defined or statistical manner. The stereochemical differences can arise from the polymerization process or from the inherent chirality of the monomers.
