Disyndiotactic polymer
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-003349
A polymer in which each monomeric unit contains two stereocenters, and the configurations of these stereocenters alternate regularly along the polymer chain. This specific stereochemical arrangement results in a highly ordered, repeating structure. Such polymers exhibit distinct physical properties compared to their isotactic or atactic counterparts.
