Sublibrary
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-013609
A smaller, more focused collection of compounds or molecules derived from a larger chemical library, often created by selecting compounds based on specific structural features, physicochemical properties, or biological activities. This subset is designed to enrich for particular characteristics or to reduce the complexity of screening efforts. Sublibraries are frequently used in drug discovery to target specific protein families or pathways.
