Surface excess entropy
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-011645
The entropy associated with the molecules located at an interface, relative to the entropy they would have in the bulk phases. This value reflects the degree of disorder or randomness of molecules specifically at the surface. It is expressed in joules per Kelvin per unit area.
