Survivorship

The proportion of individuals in a population that remain alive after a specified period or under particular environmental conditions. This metric is a fundamental parameter in population ecology and ecotoxicology, indicating the persistence of a group over time. Survivorship curves graphically represent the number of individuals surviving at each age or life stage.
