Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-011772
A chronic neurological disorder characterized by the formation of a fluid-filled cyst, called a syrinx, within the spinal cord. This cyst expands over time, compressing and damaging nerve fibers, leading to symptoms such as pain, weakness, and sensory loss. It is often associated with Chiari malformations.
