Trigeminal nerve

The fifth cranial nerve, responsible for transmitting sensory information from the face, including touch, pain, and temperature, and controlling the muscles involved in chewing. It has three major branches: the ophthalmic, maxillary, and mandibular nerves. Damage to this nerve can result in facial numbness or difficulty chewing.
