Trigeminal neuralgia

A chronic pain condition characterized by sudden, severe, and shock-like facial pain. The pain originates from the trigeminal nerve, which carries sensation from the face to the brain, and is typically felt on one side of the jaw or cheek. Attacks are triggered by mild stimulation of the face, such as from touching the skin, chewing, or talking.
