Urogenital sinus

An embryonic structure that forms during development and gives rise to parts of the urinary and reproductive systems. In males, it contributes to the bladder, urethra, and prostate gland, while in females, it forms the bladder, urethra, and lower vagina. Its differentiation is influenced by hormonal signals.
