Thermistor

A type of resistor whose resistance is highly dependent on temperature. It is constructed from semiconductor materials and exhibits a predictable change in resistance with varying temperatures. Thermistors are used in computing hardware for temperature sensing and control, such as monitoring CPU temperature or regulating fan speed.
