Thermistor
Term · Additive manufacturing and 3D printing · MLC-T-ADM-000382
A type of resistor whose electrical resistance changes significantly with temperature. In 3D printers, thermistors are used to monitor and control the temperature of components such as the hot end and heated print bed. Their resistance typically decreases as temperature increases, providing a measurable electrical signal.
