1. The ratio of the volume of a single fluid in the pores to pore volume expressed as a percentage or a fraction.

2. The degree to which a geologic formation is filled with water.

3. The condition of a liquid when it has taken into solution the maximum possible quantity of a given substance at a given temperature and pressure.

4. The percentage of the pore space occupied by a fluid, usually water in hydrologic applications.

5. The atmospheric condition when water will begin to change phase from vapor to liquid or solid; occurs when relative humidity reaches 100 percent, usually by cooling.
