Angle of refraction
Term · Industrial and trades · MLC-T-IND-000203
The angle between a refracted ray of light (or other wave) and the normal to the surface as it passes from one medium into another. This angle is determined by Snell's Law, which relates it to the angle of incidence and the refractive indices of the two media. It describes how much a light ray bends when crossing a boundary.
