Bispheric

Describing a lens surface built from two spherical zones, so that the curvature at the centre differs from that toward the edges. Such a lens is not a single sphere and falls between a spherical and an aspheric design. An aspheric surface, by contrast, changes its curvature smoothly from the centre outward.
