The Front Panel Data Port, a high-speed parallel data interface standard primarily used in digital signal processing (DSP) systems and embedded computing. It defines a method for transferring data between a host processor and peripheral devices, such as analog-to-digital converters or digital-to-analog converters. FPDP typically supports data rates up to 160 megabytes per second.
