Inch stuff

Lumber that has a nominal thickness of one inch before being planed or surfaced. After milling, the actual thickness of inch stuff is reduced, typically to about three-quarters of an inch. This material is a standard stock dimension for finish carpentry, cabinet making, and furniture construction, sold as 1x boards in widths like 1x4, 1x6, and 1x8.
