Resistivity
Term · Industrial and trades · MLC-T-IND-004801
A fundamental electrical property of a material that quantifies how strongly it resists the flow of electric current. It is an intrinsic property, independent of the material's shape or size, and is measured in ohm-meters (Ω·m). Materials with high resistivity are electrical insulators, while those with low resistivity are conductors.
