Resistivity

Term · Meteorology and atmospheric science · MLC-T-MET-008531

A fundamental electrical property of a material that quantifies how strongly it resists the flow of electric current. It is the inverse of conductivity and is measured in ohm-meters. In atmospheric science, the resistivity of ice and snow can influence electrical phenomena in clouds and on the ground.
