Hydraulic resistivity
Term · Meteorology and atmospheric science · MLC-T-MET-010546
A measure of the resistance of a porous medium to the flow of water, representing the inverse of hydraulic conductivity. It quantifies how difficult it is for water to pass through a given material under a specific hydraulic gradient. Materials with high hydraulic resistivity, such as clay, impede water movement significantly.
