Hydraulic conductivity

Term · Meteorology and atmospheric science · MLC-T-MET-010543

A measure of the ease with which water can flow through a porous medium, such as soil or rock. It quantifies the proportionality between the flow velocity and the hydraulic gradient, reflecting the permeability of the material. This property is expressed in units of length per time, such as meters per second.
