Directional hydraulic conductivity
Term · Meteorology and atmospheric science · MLC-T-MET-005042
The measure of how easily water can flow through a porous medium in a specific direction. This property accounts for the anisotropy of many geological formations, where permeability varies with orientation due to factors like layering or fracturing. It is determined by applying Darcy's Law in multiple directions within the material.
