Unsaturated hydraulic conductivity
Term · Meteorology and atmospheric science · MLC-T-MET-009895
The ability of a porous medium, such as soil, to transmit water when its pores are not completely filled with water. This property is highly dependent on the volumetric water content of the medium, decreasing as the soil dries. It is a key parameter in hydrological models for predicting infiltration and runoff.
