Temperature coefficient

A quantitative measure describing the change in a physical property of a substance for each degree of temperature variation. This value indicates how sensitive a material's characteristic, such as electrical resistance or volume, is to thermal fluctuations. It is often expressed in units of per Kelvin or per degree Celsius.
