Scrubber

A draggable slider or playhead on the timeline of audio and video software, which lets a user move quickly through a recording by dragging it back and forth. Dragging it, called scrubbing, plays or displays the content at the pointer position so that a specific moment can be found. Voicemail players and video editors both use this control.
