Scrubber

An abatement system that removes harmful gases and particulate matter from exhaust streams by passing them through a liquid solution or dry media. Wet scrubbers use a liquid, often water or a chemical solution, to absorb or react with contaminants. Dry scrubbers employ solid sorbent materials to capture pollutants.
