SMPS
Term · Industrial and trades · MLC-T-IND-005414
A switched-mode power supply, an electronic power converter that uses a switching regulator to convert electrical power with high efficiency. It rapidly switches a power transistor between saturation and cutoff to regulate the output voltage. This method minimizes energy loss compared to linear power supplies, making them suitable for many electronic devices.
