Space permeability
Term · Industrial and trades · MLC-T-IND-005486
The permeability of free space, symbol μ0, which links magnetic field strength to magnetic flux density in a vacuum. Its value is about 1.25664 × 10⁻⁶ H/m, which differs from 4π × 10⁻⁷ H/m by less than one part in a billion. Before the 2019 revision of the SI, it was defined as exactly 4π × 10⁻⁷ H/m.
