Spin magnetic moment
Term · Industrial and trades · MLC-T-IND-005526
The intrinsic magnetic dipole moment possessed by elementary particles, such as electrons and protons, due to their quantum mechanical property of spin. This moment contributes to the overall magnetic properties of atoms and materials. The spin magnetic moment of an electron is approximately one Bohr magneton.
