Subequigranular

Describing an igneous rock texture where most of the mineral grains are roughly the same size, but with some variation, rather than being perfectly uniform. This texture indicates a relatively consistent cooling rate during crystallization. It falls between equigranular (uniform grain size) and inequigranular (variable grain size) textures.
