Symplectite

A mineral aggregate exhibiting a symplectic texture, where two or more minerals are intimately intergrown in a complex, often vermicular or lamellar pattern. These intergrowths result from specific geological processes like exsolution, reaction, or eutectic crystallization. An example is myrmekite, an intergrowth of quartz and plagioclase.
