Tossing

A method of separating ore from waste material by hand, typically performed on a picking table or conveyor belt. Workers manually pick out valuable minerals or discard barren rock based on visual inspection. This process is common in small-scale mining operations or for pre-concentrating high-grade ores before further mechanical processing.
