Combination plan reinsurance

A single reinsurance agreement that blends excess of loss and quota share cover for one premium, set as a fixed percentage of the ceding company's subject premium. The reinsurer first pays each risk's loss above an agreed retention up to a stated limit, then takes a fixed quota share percentage of the losses that remain after those excess recoveries.
