Triple trigger theory

A legal doctrine in insurance that holds all liability policies in effect from the initial exposure to a harmful substance through the manifestation of an injury responsible for coverage. This theory applies to long-tail claims, such as asbestos or environmental pollution, where the damage occurs over many years. It aims to maximize coverage for the insured by activating multiple policies.
