A concerted refusal by a group of people to engage in commercial or social relations with an organization or individual as a form of protest or coercion. This action aims to inflict economic harm or social pressure to achieve a specific objective. Boycotts can be legal, but some forms, such as secondary boycotts, are prohibited under labor law.
