Testimony or documentation concerning a person's general disposition or traits, such as honesty, peacefulness, or violence, offered to suggest that the person's conduct on a specific occasion was consistent with that character. Under the Federal Rules of Evidence, such evidence is inadmissible to prove propensity, but it can be admitted for other purposes like proving motive, opportunity, or identity.
