Incriminate

To suggest or prove that someone is guilty of a crime or involved in wrongdoing. This action can occur through testimony, evidence, or circumstances that link an individual to an offense. The Fifth Amendment to the U.S. Constitution protects individuals from being compelled to incriminate themselves.
