Collusive action

A lawsuit initiated by parties who secretly agree to achieve a particular outcome, rather than genuinely disputing a legal issue. This type of action lacks a true adversarial posture and is brought to defraud others or to circumvent legal processes. Courts will dismiss such actions if they discover the parties are not truly adverse.
