Conditional sale

A type of sales agreement where the buyer takes possession of goods, but ownership (title) remains with the seller until certain conditions, usually full payment of the purchase price, are met. This arrangement provides security for the seller, as they can reclaim the goods if the buyer defaults. Conditional sales contracts are common for large purchases like vehicles or appliances.
