Continuing objection

Term · Law · MLC-T-LAW-001268

A single objection made by an attorney that applies to a line of questioning or a class of evidence, rather than requiring a separate objection for each instance. This saves time during trial and preserves the issue for appeal without repeated interruptions. The judge must explicitly grant a continuing objection.
